Geology: Mountains that have a crater shape rather than an actual volcanic crater. The caldera is beilieved to have originated about 2 million years ago. The calder was formed by erosion rather than by an explosion as many may have presumed.
Flora: Dominated by pine trees native to the Canary Islands. Flores de Jara, and shurbs like holly. There are also the endangered spcies of Cedro de Canarias that is found in the park.
Fauna: Many different species of arthropod and insect are found in the park including scorpions and wolf spiders. There are also frogs and reptiles in the park. There are also Barbary sheep, goats, rabbits, wild cats, bats, falcons, doves, crows
Tourism: Located near La Palma on the Canary Islands. There are many activites to do in this park, for example there is paragliding, biking, hiking, canoeing and many many other events. There is something for everone!
